Species of fish quickly forced into extinction.
Destruction of wetlands.
Simply put, we cannot afford the dire consequences of a policy that allows continued offshore drilling.
At some point we have to say that we have had enough. Don't wait until it is too late. It is time to END OFFSHORE DRILLING. The Gulf disaster, its economic consequences and the significant loss of life should serve as a wake up call to END offshore drilling.
We as a nation are burdened with legislators that are more interested
in preserving their seats than in creating a significant and
meaningful environmental policy.
It boils down to this: we are citizens of this planet, and we need to speak out.
